I realized something fascinating about myself this week.

I often wait for permission to do things I don’t need permission for.

It’s typically out of fear.

But I often think I’m underqualified, too young, not smart enough, etc.

If this is relatable for you, let me tell you something.

You can just do things.

Do you see an issue in your community you want to address?

Do something about it.

Stop waiting for someone else.

Do you want to start a business or social media channel?

Just start it and start posting.

This week, I wrote a letter to the editor of our newspaper just because I felt like it. I wanted to make my voice heard on a few issues in our community. So I did. And they ran it three days later!

Pretty cool.

You can literally just do things.

Don’t let fear take hold of you. Start.

Figure it out as you build. Don’t think you have to have the perfect solution before you start.

And above all, discern and trust God.

Go build something. You literally can just do things.

God bless,
Mitch
